Jerry Hatchitt

Jerry Hatchitt joined the Des Moines Fire Department as a firefighter in 1982.  In 2006 he was promoted to Captain and assigned to the Fire Prevention Bureau. 

Jerry is married and has 2 children.His hobbies include boating, fishing and golfing.

Jerry has been working with the LAFS program since 2006.  He normally works backstage with the puppets, but has been known to work out front with Sparky when needed.
