Doni Auten

Doni Auten is a civilian who has been volunteering with the LAFS Program since 2001.  She and her husband, Duane have been a real asset and blessing to our program.  Doni facilitates the puppet end of the program, making costumes, choosing the puppets, adding accessories, etc.  Her sewing skills have helped our sets and puppets look great!

In recent years, Duane Auten has been a tremendous asset in building the beautiful sets we use and change each year.  Doni offers some assistance with the sets, but Duane is the mastermind in figuring out how to build it, keep it lightweight, but durable enough to keep up with the volume of shows that each set must endure. 

Doni and Duane are very active in their church.  For many years they directed a puppet ministry troupe.  In their spare time, Doni enjoys quilting, family and friends.
